Best Time to Get Married on The Central Coast
California's Central Coast boasts the best, most temperate climate in the United States. The full swing of wedding season in San Luis Obispo starts from April through October, however November through January have also become popular ‘shoulder’ months for couples looking to take advantage of getting married outside the tourist season.
Spring through Fall weather temperatures can vary be between 60F to 110F during the day, and can drop to 60F to 45F during the evening depending on how inland you are.
Take note that much like the rest of the country, showers occur from winter through spring, so don’t be afraid if your planner suggests a rain plan from the get go depending on your date!
The beach areas tend to be cooler, while inland in SLO city and Paso Robles get pretty warm. Although one of the hottest areas, Paso Robles definitely can boast it has the best evenings as the day cools off and you dance the night away.

Where is San Luis Obispo?
San Luis Obispo county is halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The best way to arrive in this little slice of paradise is via the 101 Freeway or by airplane into the San Luis Obispo Airport. It is the only airport in the city, but guests may also choose to fly in and out of Santa Barbara, or Santa Maria.
Santa Barbara is approximately 1.5 hours away, and taking the back roads (Highway 154) will allow for more wine tasting and sightseeing.
