Hello there!

My name is Elyse, and I am the fabulous founder of Elyse Events. This business was born out of my obsessive love for planning, organization, attention to detail, and seeing people happy! I have been planning since my third birthday (no, really), but I discovered my true passion for event planning in my junior year of college, and I turned out to be really good at it!

Two weeks before graduating college, I was awarded the wonderful opportunity to be the On-Site Coordinator for the SeaVenture Beach Hotel (perfect timing, right?). Four months later, I was promoted, and my position was extended out to our sister property, Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort. In my two years of working for these beautiful properties, I coordinated over 40 weddings and hundreds of events (literally)—ranging anywhere from birthday parties to corporate meetings, and anywhere in between... This experience gave me the confidence to go off on my own, and I never looked back! I truly believe I have the best job in the world, and I’m just out here living my dream on the Central Coast of California.
