When the team at the stunning new La Lomita Ranch contacted us about designing, planning and managing their industry launch party as a group, let’s just say it was a resounding “Yes” all-around!
With multiple event sites and sweeping views of San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley, every piece of this Spanish-style property is incredible.
Amanda acted as our project manager, and we split up the rest of the group into teams of two – each tackling one unique theme and area for a styled shoot and industry launch party.
Janet and Taryn kicked things off with an Equestrian/Boho themed ceremony and cocktail hour setup in the Outer Courtyard, featuring a fire pit and various lounges from Avenue Twelve Rentals. Guests were welcomed with sangria made with the property owners’ own home made Tempranillo and sounds of the Flamenco guitar from local artist Jon Stephens, while dining on delicious passed appetizers from Flora & Fauna Fine Food.
Korinna and Colleen collaborated to bring us a Spanish themed ceremony and reception setup, showcasing the Central Courtyard over-looking the pond. Guests were invited to check out the former Arabian horse stables turned Guest Suites, Community Lounge and Bridal Suite.
Kacey and Tracey partnered up to bring us a Modern take on Romance in the tented Pavilion space, which is set to break ground in the fall. This space featured DJ Leah Rose and a dance floor, Copper & Crystal at the bar, two gorgeous lounges from SCOUT Rental Co., an abundant charcuterie display from Farmhouse Corner Market and hot churros from The Churro Cart. They were also treated to Harmony Valley Ice Cream.
Seven planners, three photographers, two videographers, and multiple rental companies and vendors later, absolute magic was created with the who’s who of the local wedding industry in attendance.
We hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as we enjoyed creating the vision behind them.
La Lomita Ranch is booking for 2019 and beyond. Please contact the SLO Wedding Planners for more information about this awesome venue!
